A small rubber wedge that keeps the washer door ajar so the drum dries out between washes.
- 10 × 5 × 6 cm
- 31 g
- Rubber
- Suction cup
What it does
- Holds the door slightly open, so moisture leaves instead of sitting in the drum.
- Rubber body rests against the door gasket rather than metal.
- Sticks on with a suction cup, so nothing is fixed or drilled.
- Also works as a plain door stopper to keep a handle off the wall.

Good to know & care
Good to know & care
- The suction cup needs a smooth, clean, dry surface to grip.
- It is small — 10 × 5 × 6 cm and 31 g. It props a door, it does not hold weight.
Best for — front-load washing machines · keeping the drum smell down between washes · a rented flat where nothing can be fixed
Not for — rough or textured surfaces · holding a heavy door open in a draught
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth. A clean cup grips better than a dusty one.
Questions
Questions
Will it fit my washing machine?
It is not machine-specific — it wedges the door and sticks by suction, so it needs a smooth flat surface nearby.
Why keep the door open at all?
A closed drum stays damp after a wash, which is what causes the smell. Leaving it ajar lets it dry.
Does it hold on any surface?
No. Suction needs smooth, clean and dry. It will not hold on textured or dusty surfaces.
