A rubber wedge that props the washer door open so the drum airs out instead of smelling.
- 10 × 5 × 6 cm
- 31 g
- Rubber
- Suction cup
What it does
- Keeps the door slightly open, so air moves and the drum dries.
- Soft rubber rests against the door seal rather than metal on metal.
- Suction cup fixing — nothing is screwed or glued to the machine.
- Doubles as a door stopper to keep a handle off the wall.

Good to know & care
Good to know & care
- The suction cup needs a smooth, clean, dry surface to grip.
- Small at 10 × 5 × 6 cm and 31 g. It props a door, it does not hold weight.
Best for — front-load washing machines · keeping drum smell down · a rented flat, nothing fixed
Not for — rough or textured surfaces · holding a heavy door in a draught
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth. A clean cup grips better than a dusty one.
Questions
Questions
Why prop the door open?
A closed drum stays damp after a wash, which is what causes the smell. Leaving it ajar lets it dry.
Will it fit my machine?
It is not machine-specific. It wedges the door and grips by suction, so it needs a smooth surface nearby.
Does it damage the door seal?
The maker says the soft rubber is there to protect the seal rather than press on it.
